MSI officially unveiled WindPad 110W: the world’s first tablet based AMD Z-01 APU

Two weeks after the premiere, held at Computex 2011, MSI has officially unveiled its tablet PC: WindPad 110W. The gadget is remarkable in that it is the world’s first device in its class, because it is based on APU AMD Z-01. AMD Z-2001 is specifically designed for tablets. At relatively low thermal package, 5.9 W it is endowed with two processing x86 cores running at 1 GHz, and a quite productive (for tablet PCs market segment) GPU Radeon HD 6250.
