NVIDIA’s new product just did not wear the crown for much time – the title of today’s fastest mobile processor is taken by AMD Radeon HD 6990M. Performance gain over any other announced GPUs for notebooks is as high as 25% according to the compilers of the press release. Moreover, even the most demanding gamers can further improve the performance due to the fact that AMD Radeon HD 6990M supports AMD CrossFireX, which allows the configuration to include more than one graphics GPU.
