New Mac mini is cheaper but it lost its optical drive

Apple introduced new models of Mac mini – the most compact and affordable Macs, which is lacking an optical drive. On the other hand, it received Intel Sandy Bridge platform, Thunderbolt port and, in some models, AMD GPU. Aluminum housing of Mac mini is made using the Unibody technology. Case dimensions remain the same: 19.7 cm sides with its height of only 3.6 cm and weights 1.22 kg.
