Next iPhone screen would be curved like iPod Nano
Well, here comes another rumor about the upcoming iPhone, which still do not know anything for sure. This time, there is a strong rumor that points to a curved glass screen for the next iPhone, this information would have been obtained following the purchase of between 200 and 300 glass cutting machines from Apple.
The reason behind the purchase of all of this equipment is that manufacturers would not agree to buy so many machines because of their high cost. Apple for its part says it is looking at ways to speed up production of its new iPhone . Why is not short, looking as fierce competition from its main rivals.
Right now these machines are stored and will be assembled once the rate of return of curved glass production reached satisfactory levels.
If these rumors are true, the next iPhone would be the second Apple device to use a curved glass for the screen. The first to use this type of glass was the fourth-generation iPod Nano. Another team to use this glass was the Samsung Nexus S, the first of its kind in smartphone devices.
